St. Patrick

Did you ever hear this verse about St. Patrick?

Saint Patrick was a gentleman, and he came from decent people, In Dublin town he built a church, and on it put a steeple; His father was a Gallagher, his mother was a Brady, His aunt was an O'Shaugnessy, and his uncle was a Grady.
Then success to bold Saint Patrick's fist, He was a saint so clever, He gave the snakes and toads a twist, and banished them forever!

Well, recent events in the financial and banking world must cause us to have some doubts as to whether he really did banish the snakes, especially ones whose names start with Fitz. And toads still abound aplenty but they appear to have lost their vowels!!! Oh, she was only a whiskey maker but I loved her still.

Are ye all going to Croke Park this St. Patrick's Day to shout for Portumna and Joe Canning, the Shamrock demolisher supreme? I tell you they are going to teach De La Salle a lesson and John Mullane will become Mo Léan or even Mo Léan Géar!! Pity about Corofin losing out to the Crokes - they wanted to keep the Crokes out of Croke Park but unfortunately it did not work out.
